Wow. The eighth already? I’m currently working on this awesome new project(I think it was a brilliant idea). If you like Ally Carter/Ann Brashares/Meg Cabot hopefully you would like this, too. Again on my writing thing, it’s a lifestyle, not a hobby. I sometimes wonder if people actually write for money. I mean sure, JK Rowling probably wanted to make a few bucks, since she was on the brink of bankrupt. I see why she would need the money, single-handedly raising a just-born child. And for all her talent, boy am I glad she started writing. I think if Ms. Rowling had remained the same single mother and never stumbled upon the idea of wizardry(if you haven’t figured it out by now, JK Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter[which rocks!!!, if I say so myself] series), I probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon the idea that I actually might enjoy writing. When I first came upon her books, dude did those books look long or what! I was totally insisting that I by no means possibly would I finish those novels in this lifetime. I’m pretty sure that’s what every Harry Potter fan goes through before they actually pick up the book and get entranced in Harry’s world. (And they finish the Deathly Hallows in about a day :D .) Now I know there’s been all this hubbub about S. Meyer and her Twilight series being better than the uber amazing Harry Potter series. When I first picked up Twilight, I was completely sucked in. Bella and Edward definately had me interested. But the problem with those two series is that kept on getting interesting and the other kind of fell. HP 1 was most definately not the best book in the series. But Twilight was the best one in its respective series. So when I read the last three on both series, Harry Potter had me tranfixed, but Twilight left me questionable. If we’re looking at which author really grasped the story, really made the characters become human-like, the answer, I think, is a good one. Harry Potter is 3-D. And the goal of every author is to make her or his books become 3-D. So the answer is suffieciently clear. Harry Potter. :D
