Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert: What They Have In Common
May 31, 2009
Alas, Susan Boyle didn’t win?! That came as a kind of surprise for me. This out-of-nowhere superstar was pretty much announced as the winner of Britain’s Got Talent before the show even ended(somewhat like Adam Lambert, if you ask me). And Mr. Mad World/Ring of Fire/Satisfaction/Play That Funky Music didn’t take the American Idol crown???!!!!
Somehow these two – very unlikely, I might add – human beings were doomed to the same future (SECOND place). I think in both of these cases, they are going to be famous no matter what, so the title would have just been an extra clip-on. One they really couldn’t care less for. Iwas a strong Adam fan from the beginning(sorry folks, I don’t watch BGT), but Kris’s rendition of Heartless won me over. (It’s now playing on my iPod very happily) So what exactly happened that made these two hearthrobs(I use the term lightly) settle for second place?
I’m gonna say it right now. Everyone’s a winner. (Hey, wait! Doesn’t a loser always say that??)

Susan came second cos the public voted her second…she wasnt as good as the guys that did win. End of. No matter how big her fame was, the British voted for the best people and those who deserved it the most!!

You know what? You’re absolutely right. It’s not about who generated the most publicity. It’s about who’s the best.
